Mixing Against the wall
*audio starts at 0.08*
In this compelling track, London-based rock duo LEONTAS delves into themes of freedom, exploration and self-discovery. As the mixing and mastering engineer, I sculpted the sonic landscape to amplify the song's emotional depth and dynamic energy. The result is a powerful auditory experience that resonates with the listener's innate desire for liberation and adventure.
Drone and blue
Perched atop the rugged cliffs of Cape Melagavi, the Melagavi Lighthouse has stood as a sentinel over the Corinthian Gulf since 1897. Its stone structure, weathered by time and sea, continues to guide mariners through the azure expanse. In this visual journey,
I captured the lighthouse's majestic presence and the surrounding seascape through drone cinematography, weaving together aerial perspectives that reveal the harmony between human craftsmanship and natural beauty. The editing process was an endeavor to encapsulate the serene yet powerful essence of this historic landmark, offering viewers a tranquil escape into Greece's coastal heritage.
Space and perspective
In the world of real estate, first impressions are no longer made at the doorstep — they're made from above.
Aerial videography offers a unique vantage point that captures not just a property, but its essence: the way it breathes in light, space, and its surrounding landscape.
This video was created to showcase an Airbnb retreat, highlighting not only the architecture but the lifestyle it offers. Through careful drone work and cinematic editing, every angle is intentional — designed to inspire, invite, and ultimately, to sell.
Because in real estate, seeing the whole picture is everything.
Mastering The fantasy
In "Quarantine Fantasy", Greek artist Xanthi crafts a poignant narrative of longing and introspection during times of isolation. Her unique blend of soulful vocals and self-produced melodies captures the essence os solitude and desire.
The accompanying video, directed by Kyriakos Karamalakos, complements the song's mood with visuals of empty cityscapes and neon-lit dreams. I contributed to this project bt mastering the track, ensuring that it's emotional depth and sonic clarity resonate with listeners.
A Glimpse into Living Memory
In a small village nestled in the gulf of Corinth, the past still lingers — not in books or monuments, but in the voices of those who lived it.
This short documentary-teaser is part of a community-led effort to preserve the oral history of Sykia, capturing the memories of its people before they fade into silence.
Guided by historian Tasoula Vervenioti, locals were introduced to the art of oral history: how to listen, how to ask, and how to record the stories that define a place.
From intimate interviews with residents to candid moments of shared reflection, this piece weaves together fragments of memory into a quiet tribute to a village’s living soul.
As editor, I worked with raw, grassroots footage — interviews, gatherings, glimpses of daily life — shaping it into a narrative that honors both the content and the community behind it.
THE PARALLELS MIX
"Parallels" is a standout track from Allen's Hand's 2017 album French Fries Are the Devil, blending alternative rock with progressive elements. The song navigates themes of internal conflict and temporal dissonance, encapsulated in lyrics like "I'm stuck in time because I believe that we're tied." In this project, I was responsible for both mixing and mastering, aiming to enhance the track's dynamic range and emotional depth. The production process focused on balancing the intricate guitar layers with the raw vocal delivery, ensuring the final sound aligned with the band's artistic vision.
SOCIAL HIGHLIGHTS
KEK Protagoras, a leading vocational training center based in Xanthi, Greece, is dedicated to enhancing professional skills and lifelong learning. To effectively communicate their mission and programs, I produced a dynamic social media video utilizing carefully selected stock footage. This visual piece was crafted to reflect the organization's commitment to education and personal development, aiming to engage and inform their audience across digital platforms.
VOICES OF MEMORY - PODCAST SERIES
"Our People Their Stories" is a powerful project that preserves the oral histories of Greek migrants in Australia through both video and podcast formats.
By capturing intimate interviews and personal narratives, it sheds light on the experiences, challenges, and journeys of those who left Greece to build new lives abroad.
For the podcast series, I handle editing and sound design, shaping each episode’s audio to ensure clarity, warmth, and a natural storytelling flow, while preserving the authenticity of every voice.
The project is available at opts.org.au, offering a living archive of the Greek-Australian diaspora’s history across sound and image.
ZIRIA FLOWS IN YOU
This rendition of Yiruma's "River Flows In You" by Corinthian Cellos is part of the Q Sessions series, filmed amidst the serene landscapes of Mount Ziria, the highest mountain in the area of Corinth and the second one in the Peloponnese.
Steeped in myth, is said to be the birthplace of Hermes, the god who crafted the first lyre from a tortoise shell — weaving music and legend into the very soul of the mountain.
In this project, I was responsible for the entire production, including directing, recording, mixing, and mastering, aiming to pay tribute to our mountain — a timeless source of inspiration, stories and strength.
THE SOUND OF HubrisM
Hubrism by Stone Cold Dead is a visceral blend of groove metal and experimental rock, drawing inspiration from ancient Greek tragedy and the myth of Prometheus. I was responsible for the mixing and mastering of the debut Stone Cold Dead album "Lava Flows" sculpting its dense sonic layers into a cohesive and impactful sound. While my current projects explore a broader sonic palette, this piece stands as a tribute to the raw energy and creative intensity of my early sonic journey.
